Knowing Asia & Europe

Classroom: Monitos

Blog Theme: Hola! Around the World

Weekly Theme: Knowing Asia & Europe

Week: March 16, 2020 to March 20, 2020

What are we learning?

Dear Parents,
We hope you all have a wonderful week. This is the third week of our fun theme “Hola! Around the world.”  It is important to keep providing children with knowledge about other cultures in order for them to be able to develop skills that will promote respect, equality, and fraternity. Children will also benefit while studying about different cultures as doing so will increase their cultural knowledge.

This week children will learn everything about Asia and Europe. Children will explore and discover their culture, geography, traditions, cuisines, music, traditional costumes, etc. They will get familiar with the flags of some countries in Asia and Europe.

We have scheduled exciting activities related to this theme, so children can continue acquiring knowledge through fun experiences. Each one of these activities will help to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills.

·         Monday - Large Group Setting

o    Learn about Asia and Europe.

o    Observe visual flashcards of animals, traditional costumes and touristic places.

o    Create a collage.
